W Family Photos

The "W" family contains a few of my dear friends & overall just a fun group of people (they throw the worlds BEST Halloween parties :o) Lots of transition going on with their family right now, and times of change are always time for new photos, so we headed out last weekend to catch a few good shots. Just wanted to share a couple from the day!

The adorable kids (and their parents...)

The expecting couple... (I'm SO excited for you guys!!! They'll be amazing parents!)

Happy Easter & Happy Birthday

I hope everyone had a great Easter today... Ours was a special one because it was also my son, Noah's first birthday party. My family came in town to spend the whole last week celebrating with us & Hayden's family joined with us today for a little party for him. I just can't believe that my BABY is a whole YEAR old! I remember this time last year looking at my little 7 lb. baby & then seeing a little boy that was a year old & thinking "Wow, Noah's going to be that BIG in a year! I can't imagine!" Now looking at a tiny baby & thinking "Wow, Noah was that SMALL a year ago!" just blows my mind. Time goes so quick & slow at the same time.

Carrie & Erich - Engagement Session

Erich, a fellow Ohio native (I'm from the great city of Cincinnati!), and Carrie (Oklahoma-an!) are newly engaged and in L-O-V-E! This couple radiates love vibes off of them! They're both so sweet & I just love to see two great people find each other in this crazy world. I'm so excited for them as this new part of life begins for them both. Congrats guys!!!

Here are a few of my favorite shots of the b-e-a-utiful couple - (I'm into hyphenating words at the moment.... :o)

This is definitely my favorite shot of them..... Carrie is so beautiful & I love her smile... & the hair blowing across her face... and Erich whispering something amusing in her ear... everything, just love it!!

Calling all moms!

Twice a year a company called "Just Between Friends" (JBF) has a big consignment sale here in Owasso, Oklahoma (as well as many many other places nationwide!). I went for the first time in the fall to sell a few items & picked up a wicked cheap highchair while I was there. If you know me well, then you know I'm a Bargain Betty through & through, so when things like this pop up I totally take advantage of it! That being said, I have pulled out all of Noah's clothes that I'd like to sell (a little extra money to buy a little extra camera equipment never hurt anyone!)..... Noah decided he'd like to help....
PS... there's MORE where this came from....
Noah helping.....

There were hangers thrown all over the living room by the time this was all said and done. And the photo of the nice piles of clothes lasted just long enough for the photo... My son (the tornado) helped with those too :o) ....and dads wonder why the stay-at-home-moms don't "accomplish" much during the day....
Anyways, just a quick PSA for all the moms out there! See where there's a JBF sale near you! http://www.jbfsale.com/home/

Casey & Ray

I had the privilege of shooting Casey & Ray's big day this weekend in Dallas. Everything was just perfect..... even the random cold weather hitting the normally much warmer Dallas couldn't stop this day from happening! Casey looked absolutely stunning with the light shining in the door behind her as her Dad walked her down the aisle to her Groom. The look on Ray's face was just priceless as he stared at his beautiful Bride for the first time in her gown. It was a touching ceremony that left most of us in tears.... Just a great day! Congrats Casey & Ray!!!

Here are a few shots from the day....

Oh & one other thing! Casey is my husbands step-sister, so I actually jumped on the otherside of the camera for a quick shot with my husband, son & the new couple! (My son was in LOVE with her! He just stared at her & smiled the whole time.... Stop flirting with your aunt, Noah!)

Heather & JP - Engagement Session

Heather & JP are SUCH a fun couple! Heather was the Maid of Honor in a wedding I shot last year & "notified" me back then that when her time came to get hitched, I'd be packing my bags & heading for Wisconsin to shoot their wedding. Their personalities totally complement each other - they're such a fun loving, carefree couple! I'm honored to be helping them out with their upcoming big day! Here are a few shots from our afternoon downtown engagement session.
